quolby is one branded link: the couple picks their package, signs, and pays the deposit — and that deposit goes straight into the photographer's own Stripe account at 0% platform fee. quolby is never a party to the payment — the money and the client relationship stay between the photographer and Stripe. If that's a thing you'd say on stage anyway, you should be paid for saying it.
Every all-in-one suite for photographers does ten things adequately. quolby does one thing, the one that moves money: the quote your couple says yes to. They open a link with your student's branding on it, choose their package and add-ons, watch the total build, e-sign, and pay the deposit. The booking is done in one sitting instead of a week of emails.
The part worth teaching is underneath. Most platforms sit between the photographer and their client's money — which is how a payout gets held, or a fee gets introduced later. quolby uses Stripe Connect direct charges: the couple pays the photographer's Stripe account directly. quolby is never a party to the transaction. That isn't a policy we promise to keep; it's a structure that makes the promise unnecessary. Stripe's own card fee still applies — that one's Stripe's, and we'd never claim otherwise.
quolby.com/?ref=YOURCODE. Put it in a course module, a workshop handout, a newsletter, a video description, a pinned post — wherever you already teach.Plain multiplication on the real €15/month price — not a forecast of how many people will sign up. Only you know your audience.
| Referred photographers on Pro | Your commission |
|---|---|
| 1 photographer | €4.50 / month |
| 10 photographers | €45 / month |
| 50 photographers | €225 / month |
| 100 photographers | €450 / month |
Recurring, so it stacks: the ten from this year's workshop keep paying you while next year's cohort is added on top. It's also honest to state the other side — every one of those photographers can cancel any time, and if they cancel, that month's commission stops with them.
quolby is new. One founder, recently launched, no big logos to show you and no partner leaderboard — because inventing one would be the first sign we'd eventually invent other things too. The product is live and the money path works. These terms are the best they will ever be, precisely because we're early. If you'd rather wait until someone else has proven it, that's a fair call and we'd make it too.
One email. Tell us who you are, where your audience lives, and how you'd like to be paid. If it's a fit we'll send your code back — no forms, no calls, no deck.

30% of every payment a photographer you referred makes to quolby, for as long as they stay subscribed. quolby Pro is €15/month, so each referred photographer who upgrades is €4.50 to you every month — not once. Commission is paid on payments quolby actually receives, so a refunded or failed payment isn't commissionable. There is no cap on how many photographers you can refer and no expiry on the commission.
Their first month of quolby Pro free, applied automatically at checkout — there is no promo code for them to hunt for or type. After that it's €15/month and they can cancel any time from their own billing portal. They also get the thing that makes quolby different: the deposit their couple pays lands directly in their own Stripe account at 0% platform fee. Stripe's own card processing fee still applies, because that's Stripe's, not ours.
You get a code, and your link is quolby.com/?ref=YOURCODE. When someone lands on it we store that code in their browser's own storage — no third-party cookie, no ad network, nothing to consent to. The code attaches to their account the first time they sign in, once and permanently. It only attaches to genuinely new accounts, so nobody can use a link to claim a photographer who was already a customer. One honest gap: there is no partner dashboard yet. Email us whenever you like and we'll tell you exactly how many signups and paying Pros your code has brought in.
quolby is new and small — one founder, recently launched. We are not going to show you a partner leaderboard or a testimonial wall, because there isn't an honest one to show yet. What we will say is that the product works today, the money path is live, and the terms on this page are better than they will be once there's a queue. If you'd rather wait until it's proven, that's a completely reasonable call.
No — and we can't. quolby uses Stripe Connect direct charges, which means the couple's deposit goes straight from the couple to the photographer's own Stripe account. The money never passes through quolby, so there is nothing for us to hold or skim — and to be precise about the other side: the photographer's own Stripe account is still governed by Stripe's normal rules, like any Stripe account. Our only revenue is the €15/month subscription. Stripe's standard card fee still applies, and it goes to Stripe.
Nothing — there's no fee to join and no minimum. We pay commission monthly, and you tell us how you want to receive it when you apply. Active partners also get quolby Pro free for their own studio, so you can use the tool you're recommending. If you stop being active you keep any commission already earned.
